Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies when you use Connect Idea, create a Connect Idea account, or participate in a friend challenge.
Connect Idea is responsible for deciding how this information is used. Supabase is our service provider for account authentication, database processing, and storage.
Information we collect

Email address, to create and secure your account, confirm your email, let you sign in, and support password recovery.

Display name and username, to identify you in profiles and friend challenges.

Account ID, to connect your account, profile, scores, statistics, and challenge activity.
•
Scores and gameplay statistics, to save progress, show statistics, and compare results.
•
Challenge activity, status, results, completion times, and concept paths used to operate friend challenges.
•
For guest challenges, the display name provided, a random guest identifier, result, score, path, move count, and completion time.
•
When you report a player: the selected reason, optional explanation, reported account ID, and related challenge or invitation context, used to review safety concerns and enforce our rules.

When you block a player: both account IDs and the time of the block, used to hide interactions and prevent the accounts from finding or challenging each other.
How information is used and shared
We use this information to authenticate accounts, maintain profiles, save progress and scores, provide statistics, run friend challenges, filter inappropriate content, process reports and blocks, prevent misuse, enforce our rules, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Profile names and usernames may be visible to other Connect Idea players. Challenge details are shared with challenge participants and may be accessible to a person who has the invitation link.
Reports are available to the reporting player and authorized personnel who need them for moderation and support.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Supabase processing and storage
Connect Idea uses Supabase to authenticate email accounts and process and store profiles, identifiers, scores, gameplay statistics, challenge activity, results, paths, reports, and block records. Supabase processes this information on our behalf as a service provider.
Your password is handled by Supabase authentication and is not stored in Connect Idea’s public profile or gameplay tables.
We require service providers that process personal information for us to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.
Content safety and moderation
Connect Idea automatically checks display names, usernames, guest display names, and challenge-path text against safety rules before accepting them. This helps prevent objectionable material from appearing in profiles and challenges.
When you submit a report, we use the report reason, optional explanation, account identifiers, and relevant challenge context to review the concern and decide whether action is appropriate. Blocking is used to prevent discovery and challenge interactions between the two accounts.
Retention and deletion
Account and profile information, scores, statistics, challenge history, reports, and block records are retained while your account is active. Friend-challenge invitation links expire after seven days.
When you delete your account, Connect Idea permanently deletes your sign-in account, profile, username, score records, gameplay statistics, challenge records, reports, and block relationships associated with you. Local Connect Idea data and the local sign-in session on that device are also cleared.
We may retain limited information only when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to protect the security and integrity of Connect Idea.
Your choices
You can update your profile information, report or block another player, remove blocks you created, delete your account inside Connect Idea, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it was withdrawn.
Children
Connect Idea is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Changes and contact
